"Just A Disguise"

We had a sleep over and I was doing my morning makeup, etc., to prepare for the day. A conversation started about how our love for each other does not change if our outward appearance does.

"Would I love you any less, if something happened to your looks or would you love me any less, if I looked horrible?"

"No," Jocie said, "Our outsides are just a disguise."

Our society sets a high value on appearance, but true love cares nothing for what we look like on the outside. God loves us because He is love. 1 John 4:8 We love others because His love is given to us through the Spirit. Galatians 5:22 Look past the "disguise" to the person created in the image of God.
