For Such a Time

"For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this:" Esther 4:14 ESV

How can we keep silent? People are lost and dying without Christ. People we see every day. If we could see their spiritual condition, I am convinced that we would weep with grief.

Relief and deliverance will arise... God is sovereign, always in control. He has a plan for His people and that cannot be defeated by Satan and all his evil slaves.

But if you keep silent...you will perish... We think we are protected when we keep silent about our wonderful God, but we lose the joy of being part of God's plan and, refusing God's plan is never a wise design.

...you have...come to the kingdom for such a time as this. You are God's creation, created in His perfect timing, in His perfect plan, for His perfect purposes. You have a purpose and a mission that is designed by God.

TEACH THE CHILDREN: Each child is designed by God and has been placed in the world at this particular time in history, to bring Him glory. Remember to teach them God's marvelous plan for their salvation and redemption and then challenge them to live for God, to speak out for Him in spite of opposition, because they have been created for such a time as this.
